Who are you?
My name is Jena Ziomek, also known as America’s Evil Sweetheart. I’m a SAG-eligible actor, performer, and general menace based out of Los Angeles, California. I do any and every type of performing I possibly can: film, theater, stand-up, event entertainment, tourism; any way I can connect with others and tell stories.
Stories are the exact reason I got into acting in the first place. When you get to see a story, be that a movie, a show, a play, or even just an anecdote, that story is the only thing that matters. For a little while, everything else in life fades away, and you truly live in the moment. I want to bring that feeling to others as often as I can.
If I’m not acting, I’m normally doing some sort of dumb bit or causing costume-related chaos. If you’re feeling brave, reach out to me and ask about my recent costumes, but I can’t promise that you won’t regret it. Or, reach out if you have an idea for a costume in order to traumatize your friends and family, I am happy to help.

What do you do?
I’m currently a company member, actor, and art director for Foster Cat Productions based out of both Los Angeles and New York. Recent productions include It’s a Bird! It’s a Plane! It’s Superman!, ‘Archy & Mehitabel’, Tragedy, A Tragedy, and the world premier of A Midsummer Night’s Musical Comedy, as written by Johnny Elkins. Coming up this August I’ll be performing as Emma in All New People, as written by Zach Braff.
I first began acting in 2013, in a local YMCA production of the musical Anything Goes. Apparently, my debut as “Photographer #1” truly affected me, because I haven’t stopped performing since. Recently, I was super excited to appear as a Theater Patron in the AppleTV+ limited series, Manhunt. My favorite short film roles that I’ve played so far are Ava in A Faded Star, and Bella in Surreal Stories of the Subconscious Mind. As for theater, I really enjoyed playing Mame in Auntie Mame, and Madame in Cinderella.
I studied at Savannah College of Art and Design, where I got a B.F.A. in Performing Arts, with a Minor in Acting for the Camera. This is definitely when my passion for film really took off.
